Profile Glass only supply toughened glass for shelving as it is more durable, allows for the carrying of extra weight and for safety purposes. Ultra stylish and timeless, glass shelving is easy to clean, often only requiring a quick wipe with a damp cloth. An interior design favourite, paired with the correct choice of lighting will really allow you to showcase your treasured pieces for many years.

Supply Only
For a simple product the option of supply only is available, where the product is supplied and collected by yourselves. For a more complex project supply only is still an option but we advise this should only be chosen by a competent DIYer or professional installer.
Delivery
On a supply only basis, most of our customers choose to collect their orders. However, some products are too large/heavy and in this instance a delivery service is available.

What type of glass is best for shelving?
We only use glass that is toughened with polished edges, for durability, safety and aesthetics. Thickness and finishes of glass are determined by both your preference and weight requirements - we will be happy to talk through this with you.
How are glass shelves installed?
Glass shelves can be embedded to give a floating appearance or fixed using shelf supports - all available in different finishes to complete your chosen look.
How thick should a glass shelf be?
The thickness of glass shelf is first determined by the weight bearing load and then by the look you want to achieve. The majority of shelving is adequate in either 6mm or 8mm but we are happy to advise you.
Do you supply the brackets?
Yes we supply many different styles of shelf supports in many different finishes.
