    Antique Mirrors Cut To Size

Our custom antique mirrors are available in a choice of 3 mirror finishes: silver, bronze and grey, and as they’re made to order, we can achieve the required level of foxing or degradation you’re looking to achieve. Because our antique mirror glass is made to measure it can be cut to any size and shape to suit any project, including having pre-cut holes drilled and cut-outs for sockets or anything else you need to fit your exact requirements.

You can enhance any room, whether it’s a wall mirror for a bedroom, a floor-to-ceiling one for a dining space or to create a feature of something within your home, such as a vaulted ceiling or gable wall in a loft.

Our experienced team can install them and will ensure you achieve your desired look with a antique mirror cut to size that provides a perfect fit. Finding the right antique mirror for your project can be difficult as pictures of mirrors don’t usually do them justice. If you’re looking for a bespoke antique mirror, please visit our showroom or request a sample.

    Toughened antique mirrors

We manufacture toughened antique mirrors that are even more versatile than standard antique mirrors. You can use them throughout your home as the toughened glass is sturdy enough for areas where a standard mirror would be less safe. Their strength also makes them more durable so toughened mirrors are ideal for commercial settings. They enable business owners to add a unique touch to a restaurant, cafe or retail space, providing a safe and versatile option for people looking for the perfect antique mirror.

      Frequently Asked Questions

Can mirrors be cut to size?
      K
      L

Absolutely! We can produce any size or shape mirror you require. If you can’t find what you’re looking for on our site, get in touch.

What is the largest mirror size available?
      K
      L

Stock sheets are manufactured in 3210mm x 2550mm so we can produce any size up to this. However, please bear in mind you’ll need to make sure there’s space for access to be able to install your product. We can advise the best option to suit you.

      Can a mirror be toughened?
      K
      L

Yes and no. A standard mirror cannot be toughened as the silver nitrate will burn off during the toughening process. Here at Profile Glass, we have developed a silvering technique that takes place after the toughening process, thereby resulting in a hand-finished toughened mirror.

      Are mirrors heat-proof?
      K
      L

Standard mirrors are not heat proof and therefore if you are thinking of having a mirror as a kitchen splashback, near a heat source then please visit our toughened mirror splashback, which is specifically designed for this purpose.

Can a mirror be cut around a socket?
      K
      L

Yes, as we manufacture everything ourselves we can produce mirrors of any shape, including cutouts and drill holes.
