How To Measure For Glass Splashbacks

Our simple measuring guide makes it easy for you to correctly measure for a new splashback. If you don’t have a physical tape measurer, you can use one of our recommended room measuring apps.

We only need the linear (end-to-end) measurements of the walls where your splashback will go. We have our own experienced installation teams. After you’ve accepted a quote, we will arrange a site visit to take the full detailed splashback measurements, including any cutouts or holes. Measuring your kitchen wall for glass splashbacks

Measure in a straight line along the back wall where your splashback will go. Our quote form accepts measurements in millimetres, centimetres or metres.
If your wall is not entirely flat, you will need to measure around any boxing out your wall may have.
You should measure as per the red line in the image below.

How do I measure for a splashback around a window?

If there is a window on the wall, just measure in a straight line along the wall below the windowsill. You do not need to measure the windowsill itself or the reveals as these will be provided free of charge as part of your installation.

What you don't need to measure...

The heights of the splashback – We don’t need these. Your quoted price will include up to the underside of your wall cupboards and up to the underside of your cooker hood.
Any socket cutouts – These are included free of charge. Our team will take full measurements at the template stage.

Can I install the splashback myself?

We do offer a supply-only option. If you wish to install your splashback yourself, we recommend that you provide us with a rigid template. This will ensure the best possible fit. If you’re considering this option, please give us a call first.
