We toughen all of our glass to produce splashbacks that are up to five times stronger than standard glass. This ensures you will have the best quality and most durable glass installed.

Glass splashbacks for the walls are 6mm toughened low iron glass and the window cills are 10mm toughened low iron glass.
Glass splashbacks can be fitted directly over the top of tiles. This works better if none of the edges will be seen e.g. under the wall units and wall to wall. If there was any edge that was exposed where you would see the glass splashback and the tile behind then we would recommend the tiles be removed in theses areas.
The wall does not have to be perfectly flat as the adhesive used to bond the splashback to the wall will overcome uneven walls. We suggest to remove any high spots on the wall as this could scratch and damage the back of the splashback.
3100mm or 310cm is the maximum length a splashback can be produced. Anything above this then a join would have to be incorporated.
The tallest a glass splashback can be is 1450mm (145cm). Anything over this size will require a join.
Glass splashbacks can be cut around plug sockets or notches under a cupboard. This process must be done In the factory during the manufacturing process as once the glass has been through the toughening process socket cutouts cannot be added after.
Where there are sockets close together, the gap between each socket should be a minimum of 20mm. Speak to our team if you are unsure about your socket gaps.
Sockets should be positioned no closer than 30mm to the edge of the splashback.
This is very common and the glass can be processed as a ‘T-piece’ (essentially like an upside down letter ‘T’). Wherever possible, we will try and manufacture this area as one piece to achieve a seamless finish. We always try to produce splashbacks with the minimal amount of joins possible.
Only toughened glass splashbacks should be used behind a gas hob, the tougheneing process ensures that the glass wont be subject to thermal breaking and is perfectly safe to use.
Although induction hobs do not get hot the cooking pans will reach I high temperature. Only toughened glass should be used behind an induction hob and then is perfectly safe to use.
Yes glass splashbacks can be drilled but this must be done before the toughening process, once the glass has been toughened the glass splashback can no longer be drilled.
We can have a splashback digitally printed with an image of your choice. We always suggest choosing an image from Shutterstock with the highest resolution possible. This helps to ensure a good quality print. We can use your own image, but will need to assess it first to check if the resolution is high enough.
Toughened glass splashbacks unfortunately cannot be cut, all the shaping, socket cut outs and drilling is done to the glass before the toughening, once the glass has been through the toughening process the glass cannot be altered in any way,
We can match glass splashbacks to virtually any colour, normally choosing from our many colour swatches which include RAL chart, NCS chart. Pantone and British standard. We also have the ability to colour match to a specific colour or paint colour.

Yes colour glass splashbacks are back painted or printed, this surface goes against the wall so the painted side can never be touched or damaged.
We can match to virtualy and colour using a colour scanner specially designed to identify colours and produce custom made paint for glass splashbacks,
Glass splashbacks are better than tiles for many reasons. Fewer joins. no dirty grout lines. a larger choice of colours and the ability to colour match. Easily cleanable, more durable and less maintenance.
All of our glass splashbacks go through the toughening process which makes the surface of the glass very hard. Durable and scratch resistant.
Glass splashbacks should be cleaned with a mild detergent and water to remove any grease and dirt build up and a good quality non abrasive glass cleaner to give it an extra shine.
Glass splashbacks are easy to clean due to there very smooth surface and few joints.
Installed correctly glass splashbacks will last for decades, the colours will never fade and with no grout line will look great for years to come.
Glass splashbacks are not easily removed if bonded to the wall, the use of eye protection, gloves and wrist guards must be worn and is advisable to get a professional glass company to carry out the work.
We toughen all our glass splashbacks which makes them 4 to 5 times stronger than normal untoughened glass. This makes glass splashbacks very impact resistant.
